Trusted by the leading telecom operators

Built for the hurdles telecom actually faces.

The telecommunications sector faces challenges of its own. Aklamio addresses them with tailored incentive programs that drive engagement and profitability at every touchpoint.

Navigating complex customer journeys

From onboarding during network rollout to satisfaction through maintenance and upgrades, incentive programs raise conversion rates at every step and keep engagement high.

Rising acquisition costs

Acquisition costs keep climbing while paid channels saturate and switching incentives raise the bar every quarter. Standing out at the moment of choice has never been harder.

Omnichannel

Telecom selling happens across online, retail, door-to-door, call centers and partners at once. Each channel has its own challenges and goals. Aklamio brings every channel together in one program.

Churn prevention

Contracts expire and competitors actively poach. The window to keep a customer is short. What matters is spotting at-risk customers early and keeping them with an incentive that truly convinces.

Local market penetration

Fiber rollouts, regional plans and community-level offers mean every neighborhood is a separate go-to-market. Scaling a national playbook to street level is a constant balancing act. With Aklamio, you steer rewards and campaigns by region and tariff.

Onsite agent engagement

Frontline sales drive a large share of activations, but performance varies widely and fraud risk grows as rewards are handed out. You need incentives that motivate the team to close more deals while reliably ruling out abuse.

In a digitally connected world it was important we chose a partner that understood our customers' platforms of choice. Aklamio's solution allows us to embrace the power of recommendations.

How does omnichannel work across online, retail, telesales and door-to-door?+

Omnichannel is the setup, not a property of one program. The platform can connect to every sales channel, and every program and campaign can draw on it. You can also limit a campaign to specific channels. Shop staff, call center agents and field reps record referrals through the agent interface, while online and in the app our technology captures sales automatically. Everything runs through central control and one consistent user experience: the referrer, for example, doesn't care which channel their friend buys through, they always see their reward in the same dashboard. Channel-level reporting shows which shops, teams, products and entry points actually convert.

How do rewards work when the customer is on a contract or a prepaid plan?+

Rewards are tied to the plan the referred customer actually takes. You set your own reward amounts and reward criteria for each tariff and contract term, without running two programs. For a fiber connection with a 24-month term, the reward can be released right after activation. For a prepaid plan with no term, it might only be released once the referred friend has stayed a customer for at least two or three months. Alternatively, incremental rewards pay out step by step for as long as the friend stays a customer. Cash and vouchers are chosen most often. We are happy to advise you on the right reward amounts and reward criteria.

Can we run a contract buyout alongside a referral program?+

Yes, and it can make a lot of sense: with a buyout, the referred friend gets out of their current contract right away, which raises referral conversion rates. Contract buyout and referral are separate programs that run at the same time on one platform, sharing central control, the reward catalog and the fraud controls. Buyout covers a switcher's early termination fee so they can leave their current provider before renewal. Referral rewards an existing customer for bringing someone in. Telecom operators commonly run both, plus a retention or upsell program, because they address different points in the same customer lifecycle.

What happens when a customer churns inside the minimum term?+

A reward is only confirmed once the connection clears the qualifying period you set. You set that period per tariff, for example until activation, until the end of the cancellation period, or until the customer has stayed a certain number of months. Until then, the referrer sees the reward as pending in their dashboard. Your systems report cancellations via API or CSV upload, and the related reward is canceled automatically. A customer who cancels during activation or within this period therefore triggers neither a confirmation nor any cost.

How quickly can an operator go live, and what does it need from IT?+

A telecom incentive program is typically live in 2 to 4 weeks. How much integration work it takes depends on the program, and some programs need no integration at all: Aklamio then hosts the landing pages, the customer dashboards and the reward experience, and rewards are confirmed by CSV upload or directly in the partner interface. So the first program does not have to wait for a release slot from your IT. Operators that later want referrals created automatically from order events connect the API when it suits them, and the program keeps running through that change.
